Eligibility criteria for SLAT Exam
Candidates should ensure they fulfil all the norms mentioned in the SLAT eligibility criteria 2024. The details aregiven below:
- A candidate must have cleared class 12 with a minimum of 45% in case the candidate belongs to theGeneral/OBC categories.
- A candidate must have cleared class 12 with a minimum of 40% in the case of candidates from SC/STcategories.
- Candidates studying in class 12 can also apply provided they submit their qualifying certificate at the time ofadmission.
- The university does not prescribe any age limit for applying for the SLAT 2024 exam.
SLAT Eligibility 2024 - Seats and Reservation Policy
The four SLS colleges under the SIU have different student intakes with a combined seat availability of 1080 seats. However, law schools also have a reservation policy as per government norms. Reserved category candidates are required to produce the relevant certificate to claim seats under the reservation policy. Failure to do so can lead to the admission being revoked.
