Eligibility criteria for SBI CLERK exam

The SBI CLERK exam has a set of eligibility conditions that need to be fulfilled for an aspirant to get a shot at securing the prestigious job of a banker. Candidates should make sure that they meet all eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

The eligibility conditions take into account three factors:

Education Qualification

Nationality

To be eligible to sit for the SBI Clerk exam the candidates need to be Indian citizens.

1. In case of any exception, the candidate’s application will be liable for rejection. Candidates with Nepal,Bhutan, or Bangladesh citizenship who have a legal certificate proving their desire to stay permanentlyin India are also eligible to apply.

2. The valid certificate should be issued in favor of the candidates by the Government of India. Therefore,before applying for the SBI Clerk exam candidates should check the nationality criteria as well as othereligibility criteria.

Age limit

The candidate’s age needs to be 20 years to be eligible to apply online for the SBI clerk recruitment. Themaximum SBI Clerk age limit prescribed by the regulating body is 28 years. SBI CLERK SYLLABUS & EXAM PATTERN

The syllabus of SBI CLERK exam is segregated into three tiers:

1. Prelims
2. Mains

*Candidates who qualify in the SBI CLERK Prelims exam will be eligible to move to the next level, i.e., Mains exam.

The SBI Clerk syllabus for both the stages is almost the same. An extra section of General Awareness is added to the SBI clerk syllabus for the mains exam.

SBI CLERK SYLLABUS : PRELIMS

The preliminary exam consists of one paper of 100 marks divided into three sections.
