The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a national-level entrance examination conducted bythe National Law University, Delhi (NLUD). AILET is conducted annually to offer admissions toeligible candidates in the undergraduate and postgraduate law programs offered by NLUD,including BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and Ph.D. programs.

Eligibility criteria for AILET Exam

As per the official notification or brochure, the eligibility criteria for AILET 2024 are explained below for itsdifferent courses:

For the five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program:

Age Limit Educational Qualification
There is no upper age limit for appearing in AILET 2024.
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognizedboard or institution. General category candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifyingexamination, while SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

For the LL.M. (Master of Laws) program:

Age Limit Educational Qualification
There is no upper age limit for appearing in AILET
Candidates must have completed a three-year LL.B. or five-year integrated LL.B.program from a recognized university. General category candidates must have secured at least 55% aggregate marksin the qualifying examination, while SC/ST candidates require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

For the Ph.D. program

Age Limit Educational Qualification
There is no upper age limit for appearing in AILET
Candidates must have completed an LL.M. or an equivalent law degree. Generalcategory candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (50% in the case of SC/ST/PWD).
